This third book in the Behind the Blue Lamp series completes the history of Metropolitan Police follows the format of the earlier books, arranged by London boroughs. This one is a bumper volume ( pages) with images covering central London. Portsmouth is an independent city located in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia. Portsmouth has a population of approximat residents spread over approximately 30 square miles in a largely urban environment similar to its neighboring cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk.
